I contacted The Global Genes Project to confirm this is an active program, even though the website is out of date. They collect 8" blue/denim bracelets to give to parents/caregivers, then provide friendship bracelets for the children. Lisa said they get requests all year, so no real time limit. They ask that you submit a note or business card that they can provide the family for
notes and email a picture of the finished product for the website. The address on the website is still accurate. Happy crafting!!!
